The brainchild of TikTok influencer Daniel-Leo Wittenkeller, a new American nostalgia theme park named Retro Escapes is looking to set up shop in Las Vegas.Â
Marketed as a “time-traveler’s paradise,” Retro Escapes will feature five decade-themed zones spanning from the pink and blue neon diners of 1950s to the grunge scene of the 1990s. Las Vegas Locally took to X on Thursday with concept visuals of the proposed park:
RetroEscapes — a “nostalgia-themed park” with immersive lands based on the 1950s to 1990s plus a futuristic “Tomorrow Zone” — has been announced for Las Vegas. The park will also include a futuristic zone and a light show “honoring icons across the decades.”
While news reports cite Wittenkeller as unable to give a location for the theme park or when it would likely open, information on Retro Escapes’ website confirms its Las Vegas intentions.Â

According to the website, Retro Escapes is marketing itself as the ”world’s first nostalgia-focused theme park & entertainment destination.” Included in the theme park’s features are “immersive attractions, rides, activities, dining, shopping and live entertainment” customized to fit the five decades.
